Channel 5 TV News (UK) Report on EFT for a Spider Phobia: The first psychological problem for which energy psychology was used successfully was phobias. In fact, there are now three studies published in peer-reviewed journals showing that EFT can remove phobic responses to everything from heights, to small animals such as bats, snakes, and spiders. Reporters from Channel 5 news sent a staff member with a spider phobia for EFT coaching, then presented her with a giant tarantula. You can see the whimsical results of the experiment here. This TV report is also now posted on the list of articles and reports on "EFT in the News". The EFT studies on phobias are posted on the Research pages. You'll find the published EFT research organized by the conditions measured, e.g. Depression, Weight Loss, and PTSD.

I find tapping a great help dealing with cravings, and many others have had the same experience. Just before the conference, at a beautiful artist's colony called Artscape on Toronto Island, I'm teaching a Level 1 EFT workshop, and just after the conference, a Level 2 workshop. The conference is now offering 30% off the Intuitive Eating workshop if you also sign up for either Level 1 or Level 2. Click here to see more about the workshop and discount. EFT for weight control: A recent randomized controlled trial showed that, not only do cravings reduce with EFT, but participants continued losing weight in the 12 months after the treatment ended! That's major medical news, because with most diets, dieters gain all their weight back the following year—and more! The book EFT and Weight Loss by Gary Craig came out last month. It incorporates the lessons of this research, and is another excellent resource on using EFT.
